Sheetal Rajput is an Indian media entrepreneur, anchorwoman and war correspondent. She is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Sheetal Rajput Media Network that runs 2 digital news channels, SRLive Bharat (Hindi) & SRLive International (English). Starting her career with Zee News in the year 2000, Sheetal rose to fame with her LIVE coverage of America’s invasion of Iraq in March 2003.She was the only mainstream Indian woman journalist to report LIVE from all the warring cities of Iraq, including Nasiriya, Basra & Baghdad. After an action-packed decade with Zee News, Sheetal Rajput went on to be a part of almost all the major Indian TV networks (Hindi as well as English) including Aaj Tak & Republic TV. In May 2017, as part of Arnab Goswami’s core team, Sheetal played a significant role in the launch of Republic TV. She also hosted Republic TV’s popular Debate@8PM. Post Republic TV, Sheetal was the face of News 24’s 9 PM Prime Time show, Nishpaksh News@9. A war correspondent to the core, she was also seen reporting LIVE from the war zone in Ukraine in February 2022.
